Six Pack Creek IS a real place, nestled along a picturesque estuary not far from Dundee Beach in the Northern Territory.  My mate Bernie fell in love with this place over 20 years ago and when he took me there recently, I got it.  I shook off my blues and left my worries behind, just like the song says.
